At SIRIS, people are at the core of everything we do. This policy embodies our commitment to fostering a workplace grounded in trust, transparency, and collaboration. By prioritizing employee well-being, encouraging innovation, and staying true to our mission, SIRIS empowers every team member to contribute meaningfully to our goals, driving impactful solutions that create lasting societal value.
SIRIS’s approach to working conditions and human resources is rooted in trust and shared responsibility. Our principles guide every decision, from recruitment to development, ensuring that our practices align with our mission while encouraging an environment of collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
Research and innovation (R&I) are intrinsic to our identity, activities, and mission to advance societal progress. They provide us with a clear compass that shapes our work ethos and helps us provide meaningful impact for our clients and the broader Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (HERI) ecosystem. We emphasise the long-term development of the knowledge of the company by:
Trust is the foundation of SIRIS’s culture. We strive to ensure that all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best. We aim to build an environment where everyone feels confident in their teammates’ abilities, intentions, and dedication to shared goals. This enables team members to trust each other to share responsibilities, provide support, and collaborate effectively.
At SIRIS, we believe that shared responsibility and proactivity are key to building a strong and effective team that delivers meaningful impact. Every team member is encouraged to take ownership of their role, contributing not only to their individual tasks but also to the collective success of the organization. Shared responsibility means working collaboratively, supporting one another, and being accountable for outcomes that drive excellence in our work and make a difference in the communities we serve.
Proactivity complements this by developing a culture where individuals anticipate challenges, take initiatives, and actively seek solutions. Whether it’s proposing new ideas, addressing potential issues before they arise, or stepping in to help a colleague, proactive behavior ensures that we are always moving forward together.
We encourage risk-taking and curiosity, fostering a culture where ideas are welcomed, and innovation grows. We work together as a team with a shared passion for learning. This approach has created an agile and resilient workforce capable of adapting to challenges and driving collective success and positive change.
SIRIS prioritizes the personal and professional well-being of its team members. By creating a supportive environment with flexible working conditions, access to resources, and a focus on work-life balance, we ensure our employees can flourish in their workplace.
We are committed to a robust quality assurance process across all project phases. A dedicated team member is appointed to oversee the implementation of quality protocols, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive continuous improvements in our processes. This commitment ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes tailored to meet client needs.
As underlined in our Core Values, at the company level, we emphasise quality above profitability, and measure project success accordingly.
SIRIS is committed to providing a flexible work environment that allows employees to organize their schedules in a way that suits them best, while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility and accountability to ensure high-quality outcomes and team cohesion.
The hybrid model combines remote work with time in the office, enabling a balance between collaboration and individual needs. Employees are trusted to use their own judgment to decide how and where they work, free from rigid controls.
SIRIS implements a transparent and equitable salary structure, with a narrow wage gap and alignment with public and academic sectors. At SIRIS the pay gap between the top paid employee and the median salary is less than 2:1. This is true for all workers, including the senior people, and takes into account total pay, including bonuses and all advantages. This also applies to the board of the company.
Salaries evolve in line with three key criteria:
To ensure the personal development of each employee and our collective improvement as a team, we provide:
SIRIS ensures a transparent and inclusive hiring process, followed by comprehensive onboarding to integrate new team members into its mission and culture effectively.
Similarly, we try to ensure compassionate offboarding. We have a transparent and supportive process that goes beyond legal requirements to ensure a smooth transition for employees leaving the organization.
Our monitoring and evaluation processes are designed to enable continuous improvement and adapting policies to meet evolving employee and organizational needs.
We maintain open access to company information, provide clear channels for feedback and organise regular updates for all team members.
Through clear and regular communication, we ensure that every team member understands their role in achieving SIRIS’s mission. In the regular day-to-day running of the company, all team members are thus able to know where they stand, and what their role is, in line with our values of co-responsibility and respect. Similarly, in the project selection process, the rationale behind each team composition and specifically the role of each member is communicated explicitly.
Finally, we openly disclose the different types of methodologies and tools that we use to our clients, especially when employing AI tools.
SIRIS firmly opposes all forms of bias, favoritism, abuse, and discrimination, and is committed to maintaining non-discriminatory recruitment processes that provide equal opportunities for all.
SIRIS strives to create a company culture of safety, impartiality and fairness, in which professional matters and situations are openly and equally discussed, regardless of the team members’ seniority and independently of the role a team member may have in the company.
